In the most recent folder preselect the first image file (raw and/or jpg). If multiple sub folders in the DCIM folder then select the most recent. It will immediately look for sub folders of the DCIM folder. ![]() if there are multiple sd cards attached (ie external drives with DCIM folders, then select the drive with the lowest letter (I am writing this for Windows). I am writing a mini app to help me ingest images from an SD card to my laptop when travelling. try toggle to Grid mode, select an image and return to Loupe Mode. This would save a lot of time looking for the last image edited in a folder of say 1000 images.Īs Cletus suggests. (This could be improved by picking the first image in the folder if no image previously had focus. I have long requested a feature in Lr that it remembers the last image which had the focus in a particular folder and return to that image when one returns to the folder. The result of the previous process is that no individual item is selected and if you are in Library Loupe mode then Lightroom does not have instructions to look at a particular image. maybe after some batch process, such as importing images (but it has happened to me in other scenarios that I cannot remember now). This scenario can happen frequently and can at first be off-putting. The most important thing I’d like to mention (again in my case) I ran across a discussion in Adobe Support Community and the discussion indicated that if I saved my current print settings for my various media in Lightroom Printing Template section then I don’t have to worry as much about constantly working my way back to the Epson Que to reset all the printing parameters again and again… (Using LR as the Pre-set manager rather than Epson) though I do re-check the Epson Que to make sure all is well before I click the print button.I agree with Cletus. If I just left Presets at default or none then the Epson Que would keep the current setting for repeated use… (hope I make some sense) I found that in my case I could not save Printing Pre-sets.in the Epson Que. I could print with those settings repeatedly with no issues… BUT if I tried to save those settings as a new Pre-Set in the Epson Que then I would loose all the settings and start over again…. I found that if I went to print settings in LR which opens the Epson Print Que… then “printer options” then “printer settings”… Set the Presets to None or Default…then made all my selections… Media Type, Quality, ETC and then click on the Save button. (not sure I really had to do all of that) Maybe I should start researching how to roll back to Monterey.įirst off I uninstalled Epson driver and downloaded from Epson and re installed P900 driver for Mac 13.x…and rebooted. Or maybe someone here has a magic trick for making this all work. but I would like to know from the many experts here whether its possible to print from lightroom to the Epson P900 using the M1 Mac Studio and Ventura? ![]() If I just hit the print button after adjusting all the printer settings then I get printing error "There is one photo in this print job which is missing its source file. and save as a preset but when the preset is used then all those settings disappear. I set up a page as a sheet fed Letter size then set the various printer settings. I can deal with the new UI but for some reason the Print settings don't seem to hold.? I get lots of strange errors I've never seen before and the Printing UI is totally different. Nothing but real issues trying to print from Lightroom to Epson P900. Well seems I shouldn't have moved from OS Monterey to Ventura. ![]()
